WHO WE ARE
We are San Francisco Sound Wave, a dynamic chorus of fabulous women with diverse ages and backgrounds who sing barbershop style a cappella harmony. We love to entertain at local events, and also put on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. SF Sound Wave is dedicated to continuous vocal improvement while creating great friendships and having fun. We welcome women who love to sing and are striving for excellence.

San Francisco Sound Wave Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Chapter membership is open to women, including transgender women, and non-binary people assigned female at birth, in accordance with the Sweet Adelines International Policy Book.
We believe that music is for everyone and that our chorus is stronger when a wide variety of voices and experiences come together in harmony. We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or military status in any chorus activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, recruiting and selection of members, hiring and firing of staff, and selection of volunteers and vendors.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members, contract staff, volunteers, and audiences. Whether singing on the risers or listening from the seats, everyone is invited to be part of our Sound Wave family.
